The Neon Project Class
Learn all the skills necessary to assemble and light up your own neon sculpture. Participants choose a neon piece and backers. Then you will be walked through the steps of creating your own neon sign art that can be hung on a wall or become a counter top sculpture. You will leave with your own neon project that you can display at work or home. |

Neon Bending Class
Playing with Fire I: An Introduction to Neon Signs and Glass Bending:

In this one day class, students will learn to make simple bends in neon glass tubing and leave with a fully operational lighted neon ghost.
This course will cover:
-- the history of neon signs
-- how neon signs work
-- how different colors are made
-- the tools of the trade
-- pattern making
-- pumping and processing procedures
-- shop safety protocols including for gas torches, hot/sharp glass, and high voltages
-- basic electrical wiring required for neon signs

Class cancellation policy: Requests must be received 2 weeks before the start date of the class to receive a refund.
We reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, in which case your tuition will be fully refunded.

Restoration Saturdays
Jude and his amazing team of volunteers work on sign restorations and new displays every Saturday during our regular hours,
so it's a great time to come and see what's going on behind-the-scenes. During your visit you are welcome to visit with our knowledgeable staff and volunteers about the projects they are working on.
